Netflix fans, Selling Sunset season 5 is on its way, and we couldn't be more excited. So, if you're itching for more fancy houses and dramatic fall outs, you're in luck. Here's everything we know about Selling Sunset season 5 so far...

Is there a Selling Sunset season 5 trailer?

As of 8 April, yes! Netflix revealed the first look trailer for season five, and as expected, we've got all sorts to get stuck into. From Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim's romance to the new Oppenheim office, plus a group trip to Greece! There's also a new broker, Chelsea, while Mary is settling into her new role as a manager. Exciting!

When will Selling Sunset season 5 be released?

Big news! Selling Sunset season five is coming this month. Yep, April! Announcing the news on Instagram, Christine Quinn wrote, "Selling Sunset Season 5 is out April 22nd!"

Netflix added, "SEASON 5 OF SELLING SUNSET COMING APRIL 22 😬☀️🔑"

Mary Fitzgerald revealed in mid-December that filming had officially wrapped. "Lots of 🔔🔔🔔 today because we are officially wrapped with Season 5!🤩" she shared with a photo from The Oppenheim Group offices.

Seasons 4 and 5 appear to have been filmed back to back, so it makes sense that the fifth isn't to far behind the fourth, which dropped on 24 November.

Similarly, seasons 2 and 3 were previously released in pretty close succession, with the former dropping in May 2020 and the latter in August of the same year, which might explain why the gap between seasons 4 and 5 is only around five months too.

Plus, Jason Oppenheim recently confirmed a Selling Sunset spin-off show about his Orange County-based estate agency, titled Selling the OC, so there's that to look forward too as well.

When was Selling Sunset season 5 confirmed?

Netflix first confirmed a fifth series of Selling Sunset back in March 2021, announcing that the hit docusoap had been renewed for two new seasons (i.e. seasons 4 and 5).

The cast then took to Instagram to celebrate the beginning of production on season 4 in May of the same year - and it looks as though season 5 may have also begun filming around the same time.

The real estate agents each shared a number of pictures from set, with Mary Fitzgerald posting a snap alongside her fellow agents with the caption: "We’re back baby! Selling Sunset Season 4 & 5 coming to you so so sooooon!!! ⭐️🎥"

Mary's caption seems to suggest that series 4 and 5 were shot in conjunction, so we can expect the seasons to follow on closely from one another.

Who will star in Selling Sunset season 5?

Announcing the two new seasons in March, Netflix confirmed that the returning cast would include: Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, and Davina Potratz.

Plus, the two new estate agents from season 4 will feature - Vanessa Villela, a Mexican-American novela star turned real estate agent and Emma Hernan, an entrepreneur who has an interesting history with the ladies have joined the cast.

The trailer for Selling Sunset season 5 also revealed a new agent, Chelsea, who is BFFs with Christine Quinn, had joined the agency.

What can we expect from Selling Sunset season 5?

While Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell's relationship hasn't played out on screen yet, the good news is it will be included in the next instalment. “We became best friends before anything, and I’ve never had that before," she told Cosmopolitan UK.

"We know everything about each other and tell each other everything. We’re silly and laugh a lot. I love that there’s no need to try and pretend to be the best version of yourself. I recommend being friends with someone first - I’ve never done that before and it’s quite different.”

Sadly the pair broke up in December 2021 over their differing opinions on having children, but fans are hotly anticipating how that will play out on screen.

The series will also involve a holiday to Greece for a few of the cast members, which is when Chrishell and Jason went public with their relationship. Meanwhile Christine Quinn also spoke out to insist she features in every episode.

When asked by a fan whether she was still part of Selling Sunset, thanks to the fact she didn't appear in many promotional photos with the rest of the cast, she said, "I'm soooo tired of addressing this," she wrote. "I am in every single episode of season 4 and 5 of Selling Sunset. The girls leave me out of photos.

"I have real work to do besides sit on my phone and prove 24/7 that I’m filming a TV show. Y'all going to see me."

We can't wait!
