Selling Sunset season 4: Meet the new cast members
Selling Sunset season four is so close we can almost taste it. With less than three weeks to go before the next instalment of the drama-filled real estate agency show drops, it's about time we got to know the new real estate agents joining the show's line up.
If you didn't already know, season four sees two new women alongside the likes of Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn and Mary Fitzgerald, and they go by the names of Vanessa Villela and Emma Hernan. Here's what you need to know about them, from ages, careers, potential drama and more.
Who is Selling Sunset's Vanessa Villela?
She has a background in acting
Much like Chrishell, 43-year-old Vanessa has a background in acting. When it was announced she was joining the Selling Sunset lineup in May 2021, she wrote on Instagram, "Not only because I was able to manifest this dream of blending my background in acting with my latest passion in real estate but because I want to help empower and show others to never give up on yourself or your dreams.
She's very spiritual
As Netflix's official description of Vanessa reveals, "Vanessa’s transition from successful television actress to successful real estate agent was a very personal, spiritual, and emotional journey for her. Vanessa has decided to start a new chapter in her life and is ready to find her way in the competitive LA real estate market."
She didn't know anyone at The Oppenheim Group before the show
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Amanza Smith revealed, "None of us knew Vanessa at all. But she quickly is like family. It's funny, like Jason really is very [specific in] the way he chooses people to join the brokerage, I don't know if he has a little checklist. She fit right in and very quickly became, you know, just one of the family."
Who is Selling Sunset's Emma Hernan?
She's a self-made millionaire
Netflix's official bio reads, "Hernan is an entrepreneur, CEO of Emma-Leigh & Co, angel investor, and luxury real estate agent. She ventured into the real estate world when she decided to purchase her own multimillion dollar home and started buying investment properties. Hernan is a self made multi-millionaire, with big real estate clients and an even bigger heart."
She's been at The Oppenheim Group for years
The 30-year-old has actually worked for Jason and Brett for three years, though this is the first time she'll be included on camera. "Emma and I are really good friends, Amanza continued. "I've known her probably six, seven years, I knew her before she ever joined the cast. She's [always been] a real estate agent and is friends with the group."
She has drama with Christine Quinn
“I think the producers found out she had a history with Christine," Mary Fitzgerald revealed to Cosmopolitan UK, when asked about the new cast members joining.
