Selling Sunset fans 'tuning back in immediately' as Christine Quinn 'returns'

Fans of hit US show Selling Sunset have gone wild after it appears that alum Christine Quinn is making a comeback to the show that made her famous.

Nicole Young, who is a star on the Netflix series, posted a video to Instagram which saw her stood alongside co-stars Mary Fitzgerald, one of the Oppenheim brothers, and Christine. They all seemed to be in great spirits as they giggled and posed for the camera.

Nicole captioned the post with an emoji showing hands shaped into a heart, as fans rushed to the comments section to rave about Christine's inclusion, with many vowing to tune into the series again.

One wrote: "If Christine is back I am back," whilst a second commented: "The audience will increase when the queen returns!!!".

A third gushed: "PLEASE TELL ME CHRISTINE IS BACK TO SAVE THE DAY!!! @thechristinequinn," and a fourth wrote: "If @thechristinequinn is back I will be sleeping by my TV!! Those other girlies could NEVER! they are going to be CHOPPED!!"

Christine herself commented, saying: "Best night everrrrr [love] y'all," whilst Jason Oppenheimer added a number of clapping emojis.

Christine was one of the original stars of the show, and she kept audiences entertained with her sassy attitude and show-stopping looks.

But in 2022, she quit the show as she took to Twitter to call out the series and brand it “fake”, as well as revealing that she’s launched her own company that allows people to buy and sell their own homes.

“30 minutes till the launch of #SellingSunset enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines!” she wrote alongside a money bag and painting nails emojis.

She then added further fuel to the fire when it was revealed she missed filming for the reunion of the hit series after testing positive for Covid-19.

Confessing she has considering leaving to get her brokers license and work for herself, Christine said in the penultimate episode of season five: “I really just feel it’s becoming difficult for me to just do my job because I’m constantly up against different bulls**t.

“I feel like I’ve just gotten to a point where I just don’t want to be in the office because it gets to a point where the drama is affecting my business and I don’t want that.

“Put all your personal bulls**t aside. Let’s just get work done. I’m just kind of thinking these days, I’m not desperate for a job. I’m intelligent, I can start my own brokerage.

“I can be a broker. I mean if Davina [Portaz] can do it, I can do it! I want to for myself – be my own independent boss!”

Christine has endured a difficult time in her personal life recently, with her now-estranged husband Christian Dumontet filing for divorce after five years of marriage and one son together.

In his filing, he cited "irreconcilable differences". He is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their two year old son.

The news comes weeks after Dumontet's arrest for an alleged "domestic dispute" involving Quinn and their child.

"The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, which missed but hit the victim's child, causing injury. The child was treated at the scene by paramedics," an LAPD spokesperson reported.

According to US outlets, Dumontet was arrested again on March 20 for "violation of a court order" and denied all allegations against him.
