Selling Sunset is *finally* back on Netflix for season 5, and fans are once again thoroughly invested in the lives of our favourite Oppenheim Group realtors.

There's already much to discuss from the new season, with viewers previously seen all saying the same thing about the latest episodes. Now, fans have spotted a very awkward error in one series five scene, and their responses are hilarious.

The mistake in question sees the Oppenheim agents, including S5 newcomer Chelsea Lazkani, sat talking inside their LA office. The camera then cuts to brokerage president Jason Oppenheim who's taking a call outside the front door.

However, eagle-eyed viewers will spot that Jason's phone actually appears to be open on the camera app, with him seemingly staging the call for filming. Awkward.

Fans captured the clip on TikTok, with many laughing at Jason's convincing performance during the 'call', heard saying (presumably to no one), "All cash, two-week close," before going on, "No I figured, yeah."

Hilariously reacting to the moment on Twitter, one viewer wrote, "My vibe today is Jason talking to his camera pretending to call a client."

Another added, "Did Jason just pretend to answer a phone call by opening his camera? ☠️," while a third tweeted, "Highlight of the new season of Selling Sunset is Jason going outside for an 'important phone call' and the camera zooming in to him having the camera app open."

Meanwhile, some fans speculated that the deal was likely done off-camera, with the phone call reenacted for filming. Explaining the theory, one viewer tweeted, "Absolutely obsessed with this scene of Selling Sunset where Jason is supposed to be talking on the phone but it’s just his photo app. All the deals and offers have been done ahead of time but they reenact it for the show and we get a photo app in lieu of a real phone call lol."

Anyone planning on using this tactic next time they want to avoid talking to someone in the street?

Selling Sunset season five is streaming on Netflix now.
