The Selling Sunset cast react to Davina and Christine discussing Chrishell’s divorce
In an episode of Selling Sunset season 3, Davina, Christine and Maya discuss Chrishell's divorce.
Reacting to the scenes in the Cosmo UK watchalong, Amanza, Mary, Romain and Heather reveal how they feel about them talking about Chrishell when she's not there.
By now, we know you've watched all eight episodes of Selling Sunset season 3, and if you haven't, honestly, what have you been doing since Friday? Working on the basis that you have, you'll definitely remember the scene that featured Christine, Davina and Maya speaking about Chrishell's divorce.
"It’s hard to be unconditionally supportive and 100% team Chrishell when she’s so guarded and so protective all the time," Davina says to camera. "It’s really tricky to understand if she was blindsided or not… we don’t know any details of anything."
Well, the rest of the cast have some strong feelings about Davina discussing Chrishell. Watching back the clip as part of Cosmopolitan UK's video series, Romain ~ who's made no secret of the fact he doesn't get on with Davina~ says: "Then you should [expletive] shut up!”
"It’s just a very tacky way to say it," Amanza says. "Yes, there are two sides to every story... technically. But when you’re friends with somebody so closely, it doesn’t matter. I would still be on team Chrishell because she’s my friend and I don’t know him [Justin Hartley] from Jack."
Meanwhile, Heather said watching the scenes back "makes her feel very uncomfortable" and explains that Christine and Davina aren't close to Chrishell so wouldn't share any details with them about what's going on. She continues, "And also Chrishell is dealing with a divorce in the public eye and filming and trying to be with her family and move out of her house. It was a lot for her. The last thing she wanted to do was go and explain things to girls she’s not close with."
In the same scene, Christine also opens up to camera about what she makes of the situation, saying: "I believe in my opinion it’s something that has been ongoing. I don’t believe someone has just filed out the blue because you had a fight or a bad day."
It's at this point Mary jumps in to defend Chrishell. "This to me is infuriating because I think everyone in the world knows that Chrishell does not talk to Christine… Davina just said she’s guarded probably because of everything that’s happened before and the way they’ve acted towards her before. So to say they think this and think that - they’re the last people on the planet she’s going to tell."
She finishes, "Don’t have an opinion when you know nothing about her life."
