As we gear up for another sweltering summer, many families are looking for ways to beat the heat without driving up their energy bills. For those with backyard space to spare, an inflatable pool may be just the ticket.
Right now, Amazon Canada shoppers can pick up a self-inflating pool for just $102, thanks to the retailer's latest sale. Dubbed an "amazing" and "great value" pool by reviewers, this lounge pool from the Hahaland Store is currently 15 per cent off.
This self-inflatable pool from the Hahaland Store is a family-sized above-ground pool with durable PVC walls and an abrasion-resistant three-tier design.
The pool measures 118 x 72 x 20 inches (just under 10 x 6 x 2 feet), a perfect size for smaller backyards and little swimmers. It holds up to 607 gallons of water (2,300 litres) and comes with double-lock air valves to prevent leakage and help keep water exactly where you want it — in the pool.
Hahaland's pool requires eight AA batteries and comes with a built-in pump that will inflate the unit within minutes.
What reviewers are saying
Hahaland's affordable kiddie pool has racked up a solid average rating of 3.7 stars from Amazon shoppers.
It's an "amazing pool," according to one reviewer. It "only takes" eight AA batteries and "fills up really fast." Adding, the "kids love it!"
Another shopper says the family-friendly pool is "great value for money." They write it's "easy to clean" and "very easy to drain," and thanks to its self-inflation function, setting up the pool is "no longer a chore."
The sides are "very firm," so the kids can "sit on them" and "dip in [their] legs," writes a third reviewer. Adding, the "dog loves walking" on the pool walls and "didn't scratch" the PVC material.
Despite several positive comments noting the speed of inflation, some shoppers say the pool requires several top-ups to keep inflated.
According to one reviewer, the pool "starts to go down slightly" after a couple of hours; however, it's "easy to put back up" with its built-in pump.
The pool will "slowly deflate and distort" and needs to be inflated "multiple times" over "a few days," adds another.
For pool-lovers with backyard space to spare, this self-inflating pool from the Hahaland Store might be perfect for you. Reviewers call the unit an "amazing" kiddie pool and say it's "great value" for the price. However, several shoppers mention it requires some upkeep throughout the day, something to keep in mind when heading to checkout.
