Selena Gomez - like all of us right now - has been reminiscing about time spent with her best friend.

And that best friend is Taylor Swift.

Yesterday (March 22), the 'Lose You to Love Me' singer posted a series of selfies with the 'august' singer on Instagram. The snapshots show the pop stars snuggled with Swift's cat, Benjamin Button.

Gomez, captioned the photos with 'kinda missin this one', a more than understandable sentiment after a year of social distancing protocols.

The superstar pair don't usually post photos with each other, but have been close friends for over a decade.

Although the pair rarely share at-home snaps of themselves together, their bond has had some shining moments over the past decade. Back in 2018, the former ELLE cover star, took to Instagram Live to gush about her bond with 'Big Sister' Swift.

'Taylor is awesome,' she told her then 143m Instagram followers. 'I love her. She's amazing. I just talked to her today. She is literally like my big sister, I tell her everything. She is so smart, it freaks me out.'

More recently the 'Wolves' singer showed her support for Swift, through a statement she released, defending Swift following the controversy between herself, Big Machine's Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun.

Swift went on to re-record many of her early work following the high-profile dispute Gomez once again threw her support behind her friend.

'So proud of you, as always, Tay...LISTEN to THIS album' Gomez wrote at the time, sharing a screenshot of the re-released album to her Instagram story.
