The post was actually a promotion for her make-up line, Rare Beauty.

'Check out my new @rarebeauty Discovery Eyeshadow Palette in True to Myself and Always an Optimist Weightless Eye Primer,' she wrote. 'I love that the palette comes with 7 everyday shades for easy combos and when you use it with the eye primer it really makes the shadows pop. -so weightless and doesn't feel sticky.'

Rare also posted photos of Gomez with the eyeshadow palette:

Outside of her makeup line, Gomez has been pretty busy with her other work ventures this year. She gave her first big interview of 2021 to Vogue last month. In the interview, she said she has been thinking about retiring from music (!!!). She also mentioned how she has made the purposeful decision to go to disconnect from social media. She has her assistant post photos to her accounts.

'I woke up one morning and looked at Instagram, like every other person, and I was done,' she said. 'I was tired of reading horrible things. I was tired of seeing other people's lives. After that decision, it was instant freedom. My life in front of me was my life, and I was present, and I could not have been more happy about it.'

She added: 'I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I'm so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it'll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music.'

Don't panic yet. It sounds like we're still getting more music from Selena.
