So it seems like Meghan Markle is writing a memoir as well

Recently we learned that Prince Harry is writing a literary memoir about his life, set to cover everything from his childhood to his experiences in the public eye and his life as a husband to Meghan Markle and father to Archie and Lili. And now, it seems his wife is set to do the same, with the Sussex book deal reportedly being bigger than first thought.

Page Six has reported the book deal signed by Harry, estimated to be worth $20 million, is actually for four titles, not just his memoir. The US publication said there's more to come from both Harry and Meghan, writing together and separately.

"We’re told Markle and Harry will team up for a book that is described as being focused on 'leadership and philanthropy,'" the US publication said.

It said there are also rumours of a "wellness book" and a "sensational memoir" written by Meghan.

A rep for the Sussex family didn't comment on Page Six's report but what we do know is that Meghan and Harry are clearly breaking into the world of books, with the Prince's memoir confirmed and Meghan already being a published children's author.

Harry's passion for his memoir was evident in the statement he released when announcing it. "I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story - the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned - I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think," he said.

The same is true of Meghan, who said of her kid's book: "The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story. My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine."

We also know that the couple is well placed to write about leadership and philanthropy, due to Harry's long time working as a senior royal, and Meghan's stint doing the same. The fact they now run nonprofit organisation Archewell, with a purpose of uniting and uplifting communities, is another impressive note on their shared CV.

And let's not forget Meghan previously edited a lifestyle site called The Tig, which she used to share wellness tips. Perhaps some of those she swore by then could now make an appearance in a book on the same topic?

For now, we'll have to wait and see but what's absolutely clear is that Meghan and Harry's work is ramping up in 2021 and we can definitely expect more exciting announcements from them in the future.
