You need to see Shay Mitchell with a wispy side fringe
It seems like everybody is getting a fringe at the moment. Zendaya just showed us what the perfect autumnal full fringe looks like. Billie Eilish gave hers a trim after it grew past her eyes. And Megan Fox just debuted the shortest fringe we’ve ever seen, which completely suited her, of course.
Now, Shay Mitchell is the latest celeb to join the fringe gang – except, the Pretty Little Liars star opted for a side fringe instead.
When you think of side fringes, your mind might automatically cast back to thick, heavy emo-style ones that covered one eye and were plastered all over your MySpace page. But Shay has gone for something a little different.
In pictures posted on Instagram, she's rocking a super wispy side fringe that skims the forehead in little tufts.
Upon further inspection, her side fringe might actually be a clever hair trick, done by celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero.
It looks like Shay’s hair was taken into an updo and a section of hair was brushed forward to sit on her forehead, like a fringe. Yep, that might just be the ends of her long hair – so clever.
We also need to take a moment for the look her go-to makeup artist Ash K Holm did.
Shay’s makeup combines edgy 60s-style neon green eyeliner with a 90s dark brown lip – and honestly, the two contrasting trends work perfectly together.
Might just have to give it a go.
