See all the latest fashion from Royal Ascot 2022
Royal Ascot is back for 2022 and the guests look happier than ever to be returning to the famed horse-racing event. Every June, celebrities and members of the royal family are spotted enjoying the event in the sunshine. It's a well-known fact that Her Majesty herself is a big fan of the races, and has won around £7 million from horse racing over the past three decades (look back at the Queen enjoying the Royal Ascot over the years, here).
Of course, the races have always acted as a showcase for not only the horses and jockeys but for guests to wear their favourite frocks and finery. And, while the trends may change with every passing year, the rules remain the same in the royal enclosure – hems must be knee-length or longer, shoulders should be sufficiently covered and above all, do not, under any circumstances, arrive without a hat. If you're attending this year, read our guide on the best British milliners to ensure you look the part.
If you love seeing what guests are wearing to the races, then sit back and relax (perhaps with a glass of champagne) to look through the best style spotted at this year's Royal Ascot – and, if you want more Ascot excitement, then explore how races fashion has changed over the years.
