Downton Abbey has released its official film poster featuring the entire cast - and their loyal pet Labrador - in the halls of their sprawling Yorkshire Estate.

The cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Joanne Froggatt, Matthew Goode, Harry Hadden-Paton, David Haig, Geraldine James, Robert, James-Collier, Simon Jones, and Allen Leech.

Phyllis Logan, Elizabeth McGovern, Sophie McShera, Tuppence Middleton, Stephen Campbell Moore, Lesley Nicol, Kate Phillips, Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton and Penelope Wilton also feature.

Character posters for the film were released back in March, which showed Michelle Dockery's Lady Mary Crawley preparing for an extravagant evening in a gown and gloves, and Laura Carmichael's Lady Edith Crawley wearing similar attire while admiring a piece of jewellery.

Robert James-Collier's tuxedoed Thomas Barrow polished a wine glass in another image, with the tagline across all of the posters stating: "We've been expecting you."

The much-loved ITV period drama followed the aristocratic Crawley family and their team of dedicated servants on the fictional Yorkshire Estate, Downton Abbey, from 1912 until 1925.

Penelope Wilton - who reprises her role as Isobel Crawley - recently revealed that the film will include huge set pieces exuding Edwardian finery that it's famous for, and features the whole cast together.

The trailer for the Julian Fellowes movie will land tomorrow (21 May). The film is written by Fellowes and directed by Michael Engler.

The Downton Abbey film will be released on 13 September, 2019, in the UK and on 20 September in the US.
