You need to see Billie Eilish with a 'Pulp Fiction' bob
Despite being the undeniable face of the green and black hair combo copied by teenage girls over the world, Billie Eilish has never been one to shy away from chopping and changing her hair. We've had blonde, blue, red, short, long, bowl cuts and green mullets – plus, recently showing what her natural hair colour actually was. So you'll forgive us for thinking, as we ferociously scrolled Instagram at speed, that the star had gone short again in a new photo posted to her grid.
With what looked like a classic length black bob and a choppy eye skimming full fringe, Billie was very much giving Uma Therman in Pulp Fiction vibes. Mia Wallace, is that you?
But then we noticed the strands sprouting down from the hairdo. While we momentarily considered it could be a very edgy take on layers, scrolling to the next snaps in her post confirmed she is still sporting a long, shaggy wolf cut, with the bob illusion being created by her shortest layer.
We're very here for it, though. While it wouldn't be Billie's first bob, its predecessors have been more bowl, flicky, or shaggy cuts. Now that we've got an idea of what she'd look like with that classic bob shape, we are firmly team bob.
The face-framing style is paired with barely a hint of makeup, allowing a light scattering of freckles across the musicians nose to shine. While jet black hair can be harsh on the skin, Billie is glowing and boy does the colour make her blue eyes pop.
This faux bob is the shot she chose to lead the carousel, so perhaps Billie's leaning toward short again herself...
