While the restaurant didn't show the exact measurement of the ingredients, the process looked pretty straightforward, reports the Mirror.

They started by adding some oil into a hot wok pan before throwing in all the noodles and mixing with the oil so they are covered.

The restaurant then added a 'splash' of water with a ladle before continuing to stir it all together. They added some salt and MSG, also known as Monosodium Glutamate, which is a flavour enhancer used by some restaurants.

They continued stirring the noodles constantly as it cooked. Next they mixed in some dark sauce sauce before leaving it to cook while stirring. Another ingredient was a splash of sesame oil, which was also stirred in.

When the noodles have reached the softness you like, simply plate it up and enjoy your fakeaway at home. After sharing how to make the delicious, yet beige, looking meal at home, people flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.

"Chow mein NEEDS veg sorry not sorry," one user criticised, while another person penned: "Without veg???? What’s the point, it’s like a pub with no beer."

However others praised the simple meal, saying: "Honestly this is how I want it." Another said: "Bro I never knew this was a thing, I just always picked the noodles out leaving the veg what."
