Savage x Fenty Has Bras In Every Shade Of Nude
As a deep-toned WOC, sifting through the bra racks and underwear tables at lingerie behemoths like Victoria's Secret or Target often left me disappointed. Flesh-toned undergarments that matched my skin were nowhere in sight. Bras and panties were typically available in only a few "universal" nude shades of tan, beige, or black.
Rihanna to the rescue. Again.
Her lingerie collection, Savage x Fenty, which launched today, has seven different nude shades to choose from, in addition to the other pink, mint green, and lavender bra shades on the site.
Savage X Fenty nudes range from "bare" and "pearl" to "honey," "spiced" and "caviar."
In her June 2018 Vogue profile, Rihanna noted that she wanted to offer a diverse shade range for Savage X Fenty after failing to find her own perfect underwear shade to wear at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards, (you know, the sparkly, sheer dress that left little to the imagination).
