'Saturday Night Live' Cast Jokes About Kim Kardashian And Pete Davidson
Kim Kardashian's friends seem to think Pete Davidson is good for her, but what do his pals think? People spoke with some cast members from Saturday Night Live at the American Museum of Natural History's 2021 Museum Gala on Thursday evening, and they seem glad for him, if a little confused.
'I mean, you've got to be happy for love, I guess. If it's love! They look like they're having a good time,' said Kenan Thompson. Thompson apparently sees Davidson as his 'little brother.'
'I'm always happy when he's happy,' he added.
Bowen Yang agreed, saying, 'I don't know what the nature of the friendship is, but it seems like they're having a good time hanging out.'
It does seem like they're having a good time. But Chris Redd is just impressed.
'Pete and Kim? Damn, Pete. Damn!' said Redd. 'I hope they're happy. They're wearing matching outfits so I think they're on their way... that's what Instagram told me.'
The cast of SNL has unique insight, not only as Davidson's friend and co-worker, but as the people who supported Kardashian's hosting gig on the show last month. Kardashian and Davidson actually kissed in the episode while playing Disney's Jasmine and Aladdin. Ironically, the sketch was about how much more powerful Kardashian's character was than Davidson's and their relationship challenges.
A few weeks after hosting SNL, Kardashian was seen holding hands with Davidson at Knott's Scary Farm in California, but they were riding a rollercoaster at the time and initially claimed to be just friends. They've since confirmed that they're dating. Kardashian has been to visit Davidson in NYC and he flew to Los Angeles last week and celebrated his birthday with the media mogul. They were seen holding hands again in Palm Springs.
On Thursday a source told People, 'Pete is back in N.Y.C. now, but Kim had a great time with him in Palm Springs. They were very affectionate and seem more serious. He's very sweet to Kim. She's smitten.'
