Stars of And Just Like That, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have released a joint statement over the recent sexual assault allegations against co-star Chris Noth.

Three women in total have come forward with their accounts of alleged sexual assault, which took place in 2004, 2010 and 2015.

"We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth," the statement reads. "We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."

One of the women decided to come forward after seeing Noth, known for playing the character Mr Big, repeatedly in marketing for the new Sex and the City series And Just Like That…

"Seeing that he was reprising his role in Sex and the City set off something in me," one of the women told The Hollywood Reporter. "For so many years, I buried it."

Noth has denied the allegations. He released a statement, which read: "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."

The actor has been dropped from the cast of The Equalizer and his talent agency A3 Arist Agency following the multiple allegations against him.
