Sarah Harding's estranged father has indicated that they reconciled before her death in September.
Sarah, who died aged 39, cut off her father John Hardman after he split from her mum Marie - refusing to reconcile even after she found fame as a member of Girls Aloud in 2002.
However, in a post on Instagram, John gave a strong indication that they had made their peace before she passed away following a battle with cancer.
"In memory of my beautiful daughter Sarah Harding (Hardman) this Christmas," he wrote underneath an image of Sarah. "I cherish the moments we had together before and during her illness.
"We all miss her greatly, and we thank her fans for their love and kindness, wishing them and their families a very happy Christmas. One can only try to stay safe in such difficult times."
John, who was a musician in 1970s band Sunfighter, repeatedly tried to reconcile with Sarah over the years but she refused to return his calls, blaming his choice to leave her mum for destabilising her in her younger days.
However, she hinted that her views of her dad had softened in her autobiography, which was released in March.
"My dad John was hugely into music," she wrote. "A talented musician in his own right, he played lead guitar, piano and bass, and he sang too. I vividly remember the photo of him and his guitar which was on display at my granny's house.
"Dad has been in quite a few bands over the years and one of the things we have in common is that we've both performed at The Royal Variety Performance and met the Queen. How cool is that?"
Sarah's death prompted an outpouring of grief from many in the U.K. music industry, including her ex-bandmates Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts.
