If you're looking for a thoughtful way to show how much you care this Mother's Day, this could be the perfect craft project. Entrepreneur and Dragon's Den star Sara Davies has shared how to make a bouquet of paper flowers to gift on special occasions and loved ones are sure to enjoy this unique posy.
Following her weekly craft show on QVC, the Crafter's Companion founder shared a short video of herself making the stunning flowers on Instagram. She wrote: "Who saw me on @qvcuk today? We had this fabulous new card pad on and I had this beautiful sample on my table and I promised everyone that I would record a little video showing you how to do it!"
Sara demonstrates how to fold pieces of flower print card into petal-like pieces before using glue to stick them onto a straw in the shape of a flower. To elevate her design, she used the Crafter’s Companion Floribunda Paper Pad which is decorated with pretty botanical illustrations on both sides.
The full step-by-step guide is available on the Crafter's Companion website, which provides details of all the materials needed to make the flowers along with a paper vase to stand them in.
With both Valentine's Day and Mother's Day approaching, it's a great time to experiment with crafting. This paper heart garland will bring a romantic touch to your home this Valentine's Day and a beautiful floral wreath is the perfect present.
