Santa Ana Winds Whip Up High Fire Danger in Southern California

Strong winds raged across southern California on Wednesday, December 2, prompting officials to warn the public of high fire danger and possible power outages.

The National Weather Service (NWS) reported on Tuesday that in a 12-hour span, areas across the Riverside County mountains saw wind gusts up to 42 mph. Windblown dust advisories were also issued.
