Sam Asghari might be set to wed and welcome a child with his fiancé Britney Spears, but it looks like he might have a bone to pick with Brad Pitt first, if his latest video is anything to go by.
The personal trainer recently shared a clip of himself uncovering a framed snap of a shirtless Pitt from the set of his 1991 film Thelma & Louise, which sits pride of place on Spears’ chest of drawers inside her walk-in wardrobe.
Opting to go shirtless too with a pink cowboy hat on the top of his head, Asghari says to camera: ‘Ok so we’ve got a huge problem. My girl got a picture of… Who’s this? Brad Pitt?’
‘The one and only,’ Spears can be heard interjecting in the background as her partner zooms in on her shrine.
‘You don’t think I can do this?’ Asghari jokes about the picture while his fiancé laughs.
Holding up a pink hairdyer in homage to the Oscar winner, who likewise holds a hairdyer in the photo, Asghari continues to say Pitt’s famous line from the film: ‘Simon says, everybody down on the floor! If you don’t lose your head you ain’t gonna lose your head!’
Asghari proceeds to claim he is '10 times better' than 'that guy' and captioned the video: ‘Brad Pitt we have a problem buddy.’
Spears has openly spoken about her love for Pitt on several occasions over the years. In 2004 Diane Sawyer found a framed picture of Pitt and Spears in the singer’s home. ‘The crush continues,’ Spears joked in the pair's televised interview.
‘My first celebrity crush was Brad Pitt,’ the singer also told Australia’s Today show back in 2016. ‘He's single now!’
‘I met Brad Pitt once, but I'd like to meet him again,’ she previously said on Good Morning Britain. ‘And I'd like to become their nanny. That sounds fun to me!’
Earlier this month Spears shared a photo of a pink cup and saucer surrounded by pink flowers to announce that she is expecting her first child with Asghari. The 'Toxic' singer is a mother to two sons - 16-year-old Sean Preston and 15-year-old Jayden James - from her previous marriage to dancer Kevin Federline.
Asghari later took to his Instagram account to share an illustration of lions with the caption: 'Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do [sic].'
