Salma Hayek, 55, Just 'Grammed Her Strong Arms And Legs In A Blue Bikini
Salma Hayek's new Instagram photo has me convinced she is solely living in bathing suits from now on. The House Of Gucci actress shared a new photo showing off her strong body in a blue bikini while at the beach relaxing in the water.
She captioned her post, 'If you forgot to make your new year’s resolutions, it’s still January. I made mine but I’m adding to the list. #dreams#mondaymotivation #mondaymood.'
Her followers were definitely having some major FOMO with one commenting, 'My resolution was to live more vicariously through celebs on IG...and it's been a success! 😂.' Another chimed, 'Beautiful as always ❤️.'
Speaking of motivation, Salma has always been open about her fitness journey and has shared what she does to stay on top of her workouts. She previously worked with celebrity trainer Sara Shear who told Shape in 2012 that Salma's workouts were typically about 30 minutes long.
And while she's not a fan of longer workouts, she still leaves room for variety by doing kickboxing and dance-based workouts that incorporate strength training. 'We'd build up cardio and high-intensity interval training with exercises that really bring the heart rate up. Salma is super petite, so adding in the strength training really gave her some nice muscle definition and lines to accentuate the beautiful body she was born with,' said Shear.
Salma's also been transparent about not being very big on working out. In 2017, she told the New York Times, 'I'm not an exercise person. I do scuba diving but it's not really exercise.'
And as for her diet, Salma doesn't like to limit what she can and can't eat. 'It doesn’t matter what my diet philosophy is because I don’t follow it. I don’t have the discipline.'
Still, she did reveal that although she doesn't follow a strict diet, she is mindful about how much meat she eats and will occasionally take small breaks from it. Salma said, 'Sometimes I go several days without eating meat, but then I’ll go back,' she said. 'I tried one time to go raw; my body hated me. Sometimes I work really hard and want instant satisfaction in my life. I’m a craver—let’s face it.'
Relatable.
