Sabrina Carpenter's see-through, nude leotard is... festive af?
If you somehow missed it...Sabrina Carpenter is literally on fire atm!
After a major summer, which saw her single-handedly boost espresso martini sales (we think!) with her hit 'Espresso', the singer-songwriter launched a major album Short n' Sweet and a tour to boot!
And in terms of fashion, she really is going from strength to strength. Working with stylists like Ron Hartleben and Jared Ellner, she's crafted a unique aesthetic that's part 1950s pin-up, part 2024's dreamiest it girl.
Now, this diva has just launched her own Christmas special with Netflix called A Nonsense Christmas and featuring special guests including Tyla, Chappell Roan and Shania Twain, and, naturally, the fits are fiiiiiire.
With the special itself featuring an impressive number of costume changes, she also fully stunned when out promoting the special on Thursday night. The look in question was giving Young Cruella De Vil and saw Sabrina strutting the streets of NYC in a fluffy, vintage Chanel black and white mini dress that was seriously festive glam.
Another vintage look that caught our eye? Arguably the standout A Nonsense Christmas look, a vintage Bob Mackie design which consisted of a nude, skintight bodysuit featuring glittery white stripes and dramatic fluffy tassels which trailed down her back and legs. FYI: this isn't the first time Sabrina has worn vintage Bob Mackie, she paid homage to Madonna wearing a white, sparkly archival gown by the designer to the 2024 VMAs.
Anyway, Sabrina wore the look for a duet with Tyla, who rocked a red satin coord which consisted of two giant bows across her chest and hips, making a seriously dramatic cutout look which tapped into some major festive vibes. The look was custom Kate Broadrick, accessorised with a vintage Lanvin choker.
We could only dream of looking *this good* on Xmas day!
