Ruth Langsford has shared the simple way she keeps her roots touched up during lockdown, after previously experiencing a hair disaster that has put her off dying her hair for life.
In a clip on Instagram, the Loose Women star revealed she uses the Platinum/Light Blonde WOW Root Coverup palette, which she credits for "disguising her roots" as we all await the reopening of salons.
Using the selfie mode on her phone, she showed her followers how to apply the root powder with the double ended brush the kit comes with.
Ruth was getting ready in the ITV studio before her appearance on Loose Women on Thursday (4 February).
"This @colorwowhair root touch up is great to take the edge off those dark roots coming through while waiting for the salons to re-open," Ruth wrote on Instagram.
"(I’m using Platinum/Light Blonde) Tried doing my own highlights once, many years ago... Utter disaster! So don’t worry @leobancroft I won’t be trying any DIY!"
After tagging her hairdressing salon, they replied: "Well done Ruth. Definitely better than a home colour to see you through until I see you next. Looks good!"
Fans agreed Ruth was looking great, with one fan commenting: "That covers really well. You look fab."
Another added: "I use this product, it's a life saver. You look gorgeous."
The star also shared details about the she wore on the show, posting a clip of herself in a face shield and a pink jumper and black trousers.
"In the pink for today’s @loosewomen," she wrote. "Jumper @hobbslondon. Trousers @hallhuber Shoes @zara Styled by @mothershoppers."
Look fab, Ruth!
Loose Women airs on ITV on weekdays.
