Ruth Langsford goes behind the scenes on the Loose Women set
Ruth Langsford has shared what a day in the life of a Loose Women presenter is like in a new behind-the-scenes video shared on social media.
The TV presenter and regular host of the ITV daytime show shared the clip on Instagram on Wednesday (24 January).
In the video, Ruth takes viewers through her pre-show routine, which starts with "a cup of tea or my green juice" while the show's hairstylist and makeup artist Linda puts her hair in rollers. Then it's time for backcombing before Linda adds a "bit of dust" to Ruth's roots to add extra volume. "It just gives it a bit of oomph... it doesn't feel sticky," Ruth says as she's getting ready.
After her outfit is chosen – trainers and a trouser suit on this occasion – Ruth gives fans a glimpse of her dressing room, where she eats her homemade breakfast of eggs, tomato and turkey slices before going through the Loose Women script with the show's producer. Then there's time for a few final amendments before greeting the audience and going on air.
Ruth was seen wearing an elegant icy blue trouser suit in the video – a trend that has been seen everywhere in recent years and a look we have seen Ruth wear before. Ruth's jacket is the Crepe Relaxed Boyfriend Blazer from Whistles, which has been reduced from £159 to £109 in the sale. The matching wide-leg trousers are also on sale, down from £119 to £59.
This isn't the first time Ruth has taken fans backstage on the Loose Women set. Last September, the TV star looked stunning in a hot pink trouser suit in a similar video shared on Instagram.
