  • Runners Need has been announced as the official partner for RunThrough events for 2021.

  • All participants at RunThrough events will receive a 15% discount at Runners Need, available to use online and in-store with confirmation of their race entry.

As runners look forward to returning to races once lockdown restrictions ease, RunThrough and Runners Need have announced a collaboration.

When runners sign up to a RunThrough event, whether that be a 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon, they will receive a 15% discount at Runners Need, available to use online and in-store with confirmation of their race entry (full terms and conditions available on the Runners Need website).

Andrew Wood, head of marketing at Runners Need, said: 'Runners Need is delighted to be the official sports retail partner to the RunThrough event series. Like all runners, we are looking forward to being able to run in organised events again and what better way to do this than to be a part of RunThrough and their events series in 2021.

'We’re really looking forward to being a part of these runners’ journeys and hopefully helping them on their way to achieve their goals for 2021. We’ve got a wealth of expert knowledge accessible on our online content hub or through speaking to our friendly experts in store.

'We’re passionate about running and truly believe there is no better way to get that "feel-good" feeling.'

Lucy Harfield, head of communications at RunThrough added: 'We are excited to announce Runners Need as RunThrough’s official sports retail partner for 2021. As we head into our 8th year of providing events for over 150,000 runners around the UK we are pleased to partner with the team at Runners Need to offer our runners exclusive discounts across the Runners Need chain.'

RunThrough is planning to return to mass participation events with Covid secure measurements in place from March 29.
