From Runner's World

There can be no place more beautiful to run a half marathon than in the heart of Cambodia, Angkor Wat. The awe-inspiring temples, vine-covered ruins and historic carving stop almost every bucket list and now’s your opportunity to see this and more on our brand-new Runner’s World holiday. We’ve teamed up with Wild Frontiers to bring you an exclusive 13-day itinerary, during which you’ll explore the ancient sites of Cambodia and take part in the exhilarating Angkor Wat Half Marathon.

You’ll have plenty of time to prepare for the race with daily runs in the glorious countryside – plus your days will be jam-packed with exciting activities and meditative moments. You’ll watch the hazy sunrise overAngkor Wat, marvel at an acrobatic show by the Phare Circus and learn to make local Cambodian cuisine, all in the company of otherRunner’s World readers.

To balance your training, you’ll also enjoy reflective breathing sessions, sunset yoga in the shadow of a silent temple and lazy beach days on the paradise-like Koh Rong island. And you’ll get to meet some of the incredible people from the Journeys Within Our Community (JWOC) organisation, which helps young Cambodians to better their future. The real highlight, however, is racing in the Angkor Wat Half Marathon, tracing its stunning temples with thousands of participants from all over the world.
