Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a very special visit just hours before the duke's milestone 40th birthday on Sunday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The event was a tribute event organised by the Alliance for Children's Rights to honour the late son of one of Meghan's dearest pals - Kelly McKee Zajfen - little George, who tragically passed away a few years ago.

Meghan looked effortlessly stunning in a sophisticated ivory mini dress by Giuliva Heritage costing £1,050, teamed with the same brown Aquazurra heels she wore in Colombia (£620), and a chic brown satchel bag from Carolina Herrera, retailing at £1,160.

Accessorising in style, Meghan opted for her beloved black and gold Rayban aviators and pieces from Cartier, including the iconic gold Tank Francaise watch priced at a staggering £28,200 and the signature Love bracelet for £7,050, reports the Express.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry cut a casual figure in his crisp white t-shirt, classic blue jeans, a sleek navy blazer, and relaxed grey slip-on sneakers. Royal enthusiasts were smitten with Meghan's ensemble and took to social platforms to share their praise.

An adoring fan penned on Instagram: "Just casual, simple and fabulous."

Echoed by another: "She looks fabulous. Just hope she doesn't drop anything and have to pick it up."

Another chimed in saying: "Meghan looks so darned cute. The dress is adorable and the accessories work beautifully. Plus she looks super happy. They all look great while supporting a good cause."

Compliments continued with a fourth fan remarking: "Love this look! So cute and chic!"

Someone else commented: "So gorgeous in its simplicity. Perfection."

Ms Zajfen and her family extended heartfelt gratitude to the couple for their involvement in what they called an "incredible day" filled with "emotions and lots of love."

The social media update highlighted that the event succeeded in raising funds intended to "directly support children in foster care, ensuring they have the legal protections, resources and opportunities they deserve in honour of our beautiful son Georgie."

Further appreciation was conveyed: "To our Presenting Sponsors, The Archewell Foundation. Harry and Meghan, you have been such a guiding light for our family not just In the way you have shown up in friendship but how you have shown up through the incredible work The Archewell Foundation does every day.

"I'm in awe of your commitment to community and to friendship. On behalf of the Alliance for Children's Rights, we thank you. On behalf of our family, we love you."

They concluded the sentimental message with a special birthday wish, writing: "Extra special day too...HAPPY 40th Birthday H! May this trip around the sun be the best yet."
