The Royal Family has shared a host of archive images from King Charles III's childhood and adolescence.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 26 April, The official social media account for The Royal Family shared the images in collaboration with BBC iPlayer — to mark a documentary that will soon air about the life of the King. A caption accompanying the six images reads: "Ahead of the Coronation, look back on the life of King Charles III with some rarely seen and unseen photos from the archives. 👑 📸

It is revealed that the six images are both "rarely seen and unseen photos." In the first one, a young King Charles can be seen with his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in an adorable scene where the two are reading a book together. The other pictures show Charles with his sister, Princess Anne, alongside snaps of the King as a young man.
In addition to preparing for the coronation, the King and Queen Consort were seen visiting Liverpool to see the preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place in May. In a video shared to social media, Charles and Camilla can be seen exploring the venue where the contest will take place and meeting with the hosts — including Rylan Clark and Hannah Waddingham.
A caption reads: "Ahead of Eurovision 2023, The King and The Queen Consort have visited Liverpool to see how preparations are coming along for the contest, which the UK is hosting, on behalf of Ukraine, for the first time in 25 years. 🇬🇧🇺🇦
