The Queen's official Instagram account marked Princess Eugenie's birthday on Tuesday (23 March) by posting a stunning photograph of the royal, alongside a lovely message.
The close-up photograph of Her Majesty's granddaughter was taken on Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot back in June 2020. Eugenie was pictured wearing a beautiful feather detail hat, which coordinated perfectly with her forest green outfit.
In the caption, the @RoyalFamily account wrote: "Wishing Princess Eugenie a very happy birthday today!"
The post has since been flooded with likes and happy birthday messages from royal fans across the globe.
Eugenie is celebrating turning 31 as a new mum to baby boy August, who she and husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed to the world at the beginning of February.
The royal recently treated followers to a new snap of her little one in honour of Mother's Day. In the adorable photo, we see little August lying on a rug surrounded by daffodils.
In the caption, Eugenie wrote: "I'm so excited to be August's mum and as you can see I'm enjoying my first Mother’s Day."
It's not known what Eugenie will be up to on her lockdown birthday, but we can imagine she will be spending the day at home with Jack and August enjoying their time as a new family of three.
