Royal family marks Princess Beatrice's 30 birthday with never-before-seen photos
By now we all know most royals celebrate their birthdays similarly to those of us lacking such a title, but the royal family decided to mark Princess Beatrice‘s 30 birthday by jumping on a common social media trend – by sharing an intimate picture collage.
Unlike your college roommate’s birthday tribute, this social media post is receiving more attention due to the never-before-seen pictures featured in the collage.

Posting to Twitter and Instagram, the royal family’s official accounts created a collage to mark the milestone, sharing sweet memories of the Princess with her parents and younger sister. Along with the well wishes, the compilation featured never-before-seen photos combined with images from official engagements such as at Trooping the Colour and Ascot.
“Wishing Princess Beatrice a very Happy 30th Birthday! To mark the occasion we’ve put together #30at30 photos of HRH #HappyBirthdayHRH,” read the post.
Royal fans joined in the celebration, excited about the glimpse into Princess Beatrice’s life – including photos of a bundled royal toddler in front of a snowman and as a princess posing in both her Upton House and Coworth Park school uniforms.
Big sister to 28-year-old Princess Eugenie, the royal is Prince Andrew and ex-wife Sarah’s eldest daughter. Queen Elizabeth II‘s fifth grandchild, the 30-year-old Princess of York falls behind her royal cousins Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Prince William and Prince Harry.
Unlike other royals, Princess Beatrice is often removed from the spotlight – rarely giving media interviews. However, alongside sister Eugenie, she appears in the September issue of fashion bible, British Vogue.
Similar to the birthday collage, in the September issue, Princess Beatrice provides an intimate glimpse into her life as royalty alongside her sister.
While we know most royal birthdays aren’t overly-celebrated, we hope this royal’s 30 birthday is fit for a princess.
