'The Royal Family learned bitter lessons from Prince George's birth'

The Queen's former press secretary has said the media won’t know the royal baby is on the way until the Duchess of Sussex is actually in hospital

Dickie Arbiter tells Yahoo UK's 'The Royal Box' that royal aides "learnt bitter lessons when Prince George was born," because of the chaos that ensued in the lead-up to his birth.

The media began to gather outside the Lindo Wing at St Mary's hospital in Paddington weeks before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first child was born, which caused disruption.

Mr Arbiter explains why guidelines for the media changed after Prince George's birth and why Meghan and Harry may choose a different hospital.
