This year has seen the public interest in royal style reach an all-time peak since the Princess Diana days.

Between introducing Duchess Meghan, and getting glimpses of the royals in their finery at countless milestones, birthdays, christenings and official engagements, there’s been a lot to obsess over in the style stakes.

And it seems we’re not the only ones: the royals have made a splash in Tatler‘s Best Dressed Brits list.

The annual list was released today as part of the society magazine’s September issue, and contains 30 stylish British names.

Besides a noticeable lack of diversity, the list is largely royal, with a few musicians, actors, models and a socialite thrown in.

The Queen made the list, with the magazine praising the family matriarch as “the ultimate power dresser”, citing her love of “bright block colours” and love of floral prints.

The Duchess of Cambridge was lauded for her thrifty fashion sense, often recycling looks from both high street and high end designers.

It will come as no surprise that that royal family’s newest addition, the Duchess of Sussex, also made the cut.

“Prince Harry’s Californian bride blew us away with her Givenchy wedding dress and has redefined modern royal style with every subsequent appearance,” the publication said.

The oldest Cambridge child, Prince George, also placed a spot and was lauded for his “Christopher Robin chic” style.

Surprisingly, Princess Charlotte didn’t make the list alongside her brother, and considering her epic selling power and iconic floral dresses with think this is big mistake.

The Duchess of Cornwall and Lady Amelia Windsor also cited made the cut.

In terms of actors, Lily James, Matt Smith and Daniel Kaluuya made the list, while Harry Styles and Dua Lipa were named the most stylish Brit musicians.
