The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their second child into the world on Friday (June 4) at 11:40am in a hospital in Santa Barbara, California, according to a statement on their website Archewell.
The tot weighed 7 lbs 11 oz at the time of her birth and mother and child are said to be 'healthy and well, and settling in at home', according to the statement.
'This is the second child for the couple, who also have a two-year-old son named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The Duke and Duchess thank you for your warm wishes and prayers as they enjoy this special time as a family.
'She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.'
The baby's arrival comes somewhat earlier than was expected, as Markle had revealed she was expecting her daughter in 'summertime' during her interview with Oprah Winfrey in March.
The child's birth date makes her a Gemini.
According to former ELLE UK astrologers: 'Gemini is fluid sign, constantly transitioning between different states of being.
'One minute you're travelling this way and then next minute you've completely changed direction. A party-and-conversation hopper by nature. And your formation of ideas works in much the same way.
'Funny, smart and vocal, your ability to entertain and adapt to your audience is profound. A career in the spotlight isn't farfetched at all. Just remember, despite the feeling that you're always being pulled in more than one direction, it's important to learn to focus and to let other people know you are really listening to them.'
Geminis are also believed to be busy, chatty, an entertainer but often distracted.
When it comes to their beauty and style, Geminis are 'always on-trend'.
'You’re usually the first in in your squad to sport the hottest lines, before anyone has even seen a single ad on Instagram,' the astrologers say to other Geminis.
'You’re the kind of sign that would show up to the Met Gala in a sequin dress and trainers, and you’d immediately set that trend amongst the masses. You also like to wear a few different outfits a day, when possible.'
With stylish relatives like Meghan Markle and the late Princess Diana, to whom her middle name pays tribute, Lilibet is certainly set to be a trendsetter, regardless of her star sign.
We can't wait to see Lilibet's personality shine over the years.
