Rose Bertram’s 5 Photos From Curaçao That We Can’t Get Over

For Belgian model Rose Bertram, her three years of SI Swimsuit photoshoots never really felt like work. While on set of her third consecutive feature with the brand, this time in Curaçao, an island nation in the Caribbean, she remarked that the whole experience was just about putting on her best swimwear and doing her best to pose for a great series of photos. “That’s just it,” she remarked.
Some of her favorites from the trip were those that she took with a neon yellow-and-black soccer ball as she ran around a concrete pitch. Bertram liked them because she was “not posing at all,” she said. “I like the natural pictures, and that was one of my favorites.”
In terms of her evolution over the years, Bertram was happy with the way she felt the final photos were progressing. “I feel like every year is getting better and better,” she said. “I enjoy watching the changes and the process.”
The same was definitely true of Bertam’s third brand feature in 2017. “We shot so many good ones,” she said when reflecting on the experience after it ended. “I can’t wait for you guys to see it.”
While all of her SI Swimsuit photoshoots were impressive shows of her talent in front of a lens, Betram’s last one was certainly the culmination of her several experiences with the brand. We can’t choose any favorites from the trip (they’re all too good), but here are a few of the incredible snaps from Curaçao.
