Rolf Harris' dying words and last message to his daughter - as his wife Alwen dies aged 93
Convicted paedophile Rolf Harris, who passed away at the age of 93 last year, had a poignant final wish for his daughter Bindi. The shamed TV star, once a household name for shows like Rolf's Cartoon Club and Animal Hospital, spent his final days in seclusion, a stark contrast to his former life in the spotlight.
Living with his Welsh wife Alwen in their grand estate, who also recently passed away at 93 from a stroke, Harris faced a dramatic fall from grace when he was implicated in historic sexual offences during Operation Yewtree.
His illustrious career came to an abrupt end in 2013 following his arrest and subsequent conviction for 12 indecent assaults on four teenage girls between 1968 and 1986, although one conviction was later quashed. Sentenced to five years and nine months in prison, he served time until his release in 2017, after which he reportedly became a recluse, battling serious illness.

Harris died in May last year, with neck cancer and 'frailty of old age' listed as the causes on his death certificate. In his final moments, surrounded by family, he expressed a heartfelt plea to his 58 year old daughter through a feeding tube at his Berkshire home, reports the Mirror.
His last words were a testament to his concern for his wife: "I always believed we would go on longer together but, if I go first, promise you'll take good care of your mum."
It was previously reported that his wife Alwen was battling Alzheimer's Disease and required round-the-clock nursing care. The couple, who met at art school in Kennington in the early 1950s, were married at St Saviour's Church in Paddington in 1958.
Alwen had been seen in a wheelchair in recent years due to her deteriorating health.
She reportedly spent her final days in their family home, cared for by nurses. When Harris was charged, Judge Mr Justice Sweeney stated that he had exploited his celebrity status and shown "no remorse".
In 2016, while still incarcerated, he faced seven unrelated historic allegations of indecent assault but was cleared on three counts.
The jury was dismissed before reaching a verdict on the remaining four charges. Harris was retried for three offences and one new charge but was acquitted when the jury couldn't reach a verdict.
He was later retried for three offences and one new charge but was acquitted after the jury could not reach a verdict. "I feel no sense of victory, only relief," Harris said in a statement at the time.
He served nearly three years at HMP Stafford before being released in May 2017. He spent the rest of his days living at his multi-million-pound estate in Berkshire.
