TV presenter and The Saturdays alumna, Rochelle Humes, has posted a candid picture in which she breastfeeds her four-week old son, Blake.

In snap, shared to her Instagram Stories, the former Women's Health cover star wrote: ‘Baby B hasn’t been feeling great, they think that dairy isn’t agreeing with him. So no more formula top-ups. Breast is best for the foreseeable…’.

In the next Story, she says: ‘Which also means some double pumping and dairy free for me…’

Cows' milk allergy (CMA) is one of the most common allergies in children, thought to affect 7% – but most grow out of it by the age of five.

To clarify, human breast milk is technically defined as ‘dairy’ as, rather than relating to cows as we understand it more generally, the term describes milk from mammals — which, along with sheep and goats, is a category we undoubtedly fit into. But sometimes babies can react to the proteins, with symptoms including being sick, abdominal pain, crying and irritability.

Later the My Little Coco founder posted a picture of her Medela breast pump and a mug of Traditional Medicinals' 'Mother’s Milk’ tea, which is said to help promote natural lactation.

Blake is Rochelle’s third child with ex-JLS singer Marvin Humes, joining daughters seven-year-old Alaia-Mai and three-year-old Valentina. In an Instagram Q+A since the birth, she said they’d be open to adding another child to her brood, answering a fan: 'Um, I think so. That's the plan. I feel very lucky, very blessed to have three healthy children.'
