Finding the ideal transitional dress as summer slips away into autumn is no easy task, and landing on the perfect piece when you're heavily pregnant only makes it harder.

But Rochelle Humes has miraculously managed to do just that, finding the ideal seasonal dress for a recent TV appearance, and it's one that will look good on everyone and anyone — pregnant or not.

The Saturdays star — who is expecting her third child with husband Marvin Humes in October — uploaded a photo to her Instagram, showing her cradling her bump, wearing a white belted midi dress.

The mum-to-be wore the dress for her final appearance hosting This Morning before going on maternity leave, and paired the ribbed dress with a pair of Alohas mules in a tan colour.

But it was all eyes firmly on the dress, which — unlike many celebrity outfits — is actually available on the high street and costs under £100.

The Belted Rib Midi Dress from &Other Stories is priced at £95 and comes in sizes extra-small through to large. It was originally available in white and black, but the latter colourway is currently sold out.

It's not a maternity dress, but the ribbed, calf-length number has plenty of stretch to keep mum and bump comfy, while still offering a fitted and flattering silhouette. And the tie waist allows you to adjust the fit for your figure, with Rochelle wrapping it loosely to accommodate her bump.

The rib knit is perfect for transitioning into the cooler weather, but the creamy white colour keeps it from being too autumnal.

And proof that the dress really is the perfect wardrobe essential for this season, the comments on Rochelle's post were flooded with people asking about where they could get their hands on the garment for themselves.

'Gorgeous. Where is the dress from please?' wrote one fan, while another commented: 'This dress... WOW. Please link to it.'
