Robson Green plotting TV comeback with Jerome Flynn

Robson Green is working on a TV comeback with his former co-star and bandmate Jerome Flynn.

The actors found fame starring in military drama Soldier Soldier between 1991 and 1995 and capitalised on their success by becoming the singing duo Robson & Jerome, topping the charts with their covers of Unchained Melody and I Believe.

Robson has now revealed that he and Jerome have had a meeting about making a TV comeback.

"There may be something, you're the first to hear this, in the air with me and Jerome coming soon. A TV show," he told the Mirror. "We had a meeting and it went well."

When asked if the TV series would be a documentary or a work of fiction, he replied, "It might be a hybrid... let's see."

He went on to call Jerome a "brilliant actor", adding, "Everyone saw that in Ripper Street and Game of Thrones, but also on stage he's amazing."

Robson and Jerome became a singing duo after their performance of Unchained Melody in the fourth series of Soldier Soldier proved to be hugely popular. Their version of the classic song, made famous by The Righteous Brothers, became the best-selling single of 1995 in the U.K. and they went on to release two chart-topping albums and two compilation albums between that year and 2000.

Outside of their partnership, Robson is best known for the TV series Grantchester and presenting shows such as Extreme Fishing, while Jerome played Bronn in Game of Thrones.
