Filming for Robert Pattinson's The Batman has been stopped for a second time by coronavirus, though this time it's being reported that Pattinson himself has tested positive for the virus.

Vanity Fair and The Hollywood Reporter both cite multiple sources who say he tested positive a few days after filming resumed somewhere in Hertfordshire.

This adds another break in production after the six month hiatus which followed the general outbreak of the pandemic back in March.

"A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols," a Warner Bros spokesperson said. "Filming is temporarily paused."

We haven't heard any confirmation or dismissal of the reports from Pattinson himself as yet, but he's currently self-isolating for a fortnight before filming can recommence. The Batman had been slated to arrive in June next year, but after the delay this year it's been moved back to October instead.
