Robbie Williams had a huge health scare prior to performing live, he said.

The Let me Entertain You singer opened up about his health problem back in September, when he was forced to pull out of the Russian leg of his tour.

So far, Williams, 43, won’t specify exactly what was wrong; only citing that he was in ICU after ‘worrying test results’. He had previously mentioned the scare, but has spent the time since recovering.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘That was obviously very scary, so the decision was taken out of my hands and I was sent straight to the intensive care unit.

It’s very weird to go from being on tour to suddenly being in intensive care, but that’s where I found myself.’

Apparently, the singer felt something wasn’t right just prior to taking to the stage in Zurich. A doctor was called backstage when his left arm went numb and was struggling to breathe.

The Angels singer isn’t one to shy away from discussing his health, having spoken candidly about his wild past and how he’s now living a healthier, cleaner lifestyle as a vegan and yoga enthusiast.

Now married to wife Ayda Field, the pair have two children, Theodora (5) and Charlton (3), together.

The solo singer will continue the next leg of his Heavy Entertainment Show tour in New Zealand on 14 February, after undergoing further tests in London, where’ brain abnormalities’ were discovered. He subsequently spent two months recovering at his home in Los Angeles.

Williams has been given the go ahead to resume touring from his doctor, despite initial concerns, much to fans’ delight.
