Rita Ora has criticised the double standards she's faced for having public romances.

The How We Do singer, 32, is reportedly married to Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi. Despite both being seen with wedding bands, they have yet to publicly confirm they've tied the knot.

Speaking in a new interview with Louis Theroux, Ora has opened up on her past relationships, and how she feels about dating in the public eye.

"I love love, I love being in love, it's amazing and so fun, who doesn't?" she tells the documentary filmmaker.

"I live life to the fullest. I'm an extremely passionate person when it comes to love, but I don't base my life on relationships. I don't base my moments on, 'Oh, I'll remember this because of that relationship', that's just an addition to my life.

"I've always been very adamant on focusing on me and my work."

She added: "Look, we are women. Men don't get asked, 'Oh, you've had 100 boyfriends or girlfriends'. Sometimes they do, but the majority of the time they don't.

"It comes with the territory, it's part of the world that you're in."

Ora first burst onto the music scene in 2012 with breakout hit 'Hot Right Now', and has since become one of the UK's most beloved exports.

She's also expanded her career into TV presenting, becoming a member of The Masked Singer judges panel, and hosting the MTV VMAs alongside other half Waititi.

Ora and Waititi first started dating in March 2021, having been introduced by friends three years prior when they were both in other relationships.

They got engaged in June 2022, and it's believed they married shortly after.

Louis Theroux Interviews Rita Ora airs Tuesday at 9pm on BBC Two.
