Rihanna Steps Out in a Bump-Baring Bralette and Low-Rise Denim Skirt

Rihanna skipped the 2022 Met Gala on Monday night, appearing instead at Dave Chappelle's comedy taping at the Hollywood Bowl with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. Still, the star managed to make headlines in both places, shutting down the annual fundraising event with an iconic statue unveiled by Vogue, and turning heads at the live music venue in Southern California one day later.

The "Diamonds" singer adopted yet another bump-baring silhouette for the comedy show, wearing a shimmery green bra top and low-rise acid-wash denim midi skirt with splashes of green. The skirt featured several high slits and a flared hem for freedom of movement. Rihanna's belly was at the center of the ensemble, which she accessorized with layers of gold jewelry. She finished with an electric-blue patent-leather jacket and braided some of her hair, letting the rest fall past her shoulders. Rihanna kept her makeup relatively simple, using a pink blush and lip, along with gold highlighter.

Meanwhile, Rocky channeled a similarly laid-back vibe in a black varsity jacket with patches, a white T-shirt, blue denim jeans, a reversed baseball cap, and black sneakers. The couple, who will soon be welcoming their first child, looked utterly cool and composed. They even staged a wedding in Rocky's recently released "D.M.B." music video, signaling that news of an engagement may be on the horizon.

Comedian Michael Blackson documented their presence in an Instagram image of the trio backstage. Referring to Rihanna's third-semester pregnancy, he wrote, "I thought I was going to have to deliver a baby last night backstage at the Hollywood bowl."

The comedy show was disturbingly interrupted by an attacker onstage during Chapelle's performance, but in a statement published by CNN, his rep said, "As unfortunate and unsettling as the incident was, Chappelle went on with the show."
