I don’t know about you but my hair has been getting greasy so quickly lately. But being a hair wash every two or three days kind of gal, there’s only so much Living Proof dry shampoo that I can spritz onto my scalp every day.

But when I saw Rihanna shut down the Met Gala red white carpet, I finally had my answer.

Rihanna is already known as the Queen of Met Gala looks and alongside a large duvet-like gown and some of the most sparkly jewellery I’ve ever seen, she walked the carpet wearing a black beanie hat – and honestly, what a great idea.

Of course, that’s not to say that RiRi’s hair was greasy (I can only imagine how incredible she smells and you've definitely thought about it, too), but her look basically makes beanies an acceptable hair accessory for all occasions, from Zoom meetings to the biggest and fanciest fashion event of the year. And it’s the perfect way to hide away my greasy roots. Thanks, Ri.

As for the rest of her look, Rihanna’s go-to makeup artist Hector Espinal gave her a soft purple smoky eye paired with long, fluttery lashes.

Hector finished Rihanna’s makeup with a dark and rich malbec red lip, using Fenty Beauty’s Stunna Lip Paint in Underdawg, the perfect shade for autumn and winter.

First she debuted her shortest mullet of all time and now this? Another day, another slay by Rihanna.
