It’s fair to say that 2023 is shaping up to be a preeeeeetty good year for Rihanna. The superstar wowed the globe with her Super Bowl LVII halftime show, where she also revealed that she is expecting her second baby. She dropped an epic covershoot sporting a wolf cut, while posing with her adorable firstborn son. And, she has absolutely slayed some red carpet moments. Guess you could say it’s been a great year for us with all these RiRi moments, too, ey?

Now, the star has served once again – this time, at the 2023 Oscars. Gracing the red carpet, the ‘Lift Me Up’ singer wore her hair in a topknot bun. But – to steal a quote from the lady on the M&S adverts – this isn’t just any top knot bun.

RiRi’s Oscars 2023 bun is a lesson in the perfect messy bun. Her hair has been slicked back with a few curls pulled out to frame her face. As for the bun itself, section ends have been pulled out of the bun and stick out in different directions.

Of course, this masterpiece in hair artistry was done by Rihanna’s go-to person: celebrity hairstylist Yusef.

As for makeup, RiRi wore a subtle slick of black eyeliner complete with a bright red lip, which went with her all-black outfit perfectly. She once again relied on a go-to member of her glam squad, makeup artist Priscilla Ono. And yes, she revealed on Instagram Fenty products were used TYSM.

For that winged eye moment, we’re assuming she used the Fenty Beauty Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner, £18.

However, Priscilla is yet to reveal exactly which shade that gorgeous red lip – but here’s a few shades that are 10000% worth trying:
