Rihanna will be bringing her trademark fierce style to the London Fashion Week AW13 catwalks today.
The songstress' long-awaited fashion collection, Rihanna for River Island, gets its first airing on day two of the fashion week calendar and we're predicting there'll be a star-studded FROW to accompany it.
Rumours are circulating that British fashion royalty will even be in attendance, with the likes of Stella McCartney and Kate Moss among those said to be checking out Rihanna's first foray into fashion.
Rihanna has kept reasonably tight-lipped about her debut fashion line up until now, but experts are predicting it'll be heavily-influenced by the star's trademark edgy style.
The Diamonds singer has never been afraid to try out the latest trends and regularly raises eyebrows with her bold style decisions.
Chunky embellishments, bold colours, laidback luxe and all-out glamour are just some of the looks Ri Ri has worn, showcasing her vast style taste and confidence to try anything new.
At last weekend's Grammy Awards, the star was the epitome of old-Hollywood glamour in a floor-sweeping pillarbox-red custom Azzedine Alaia gown on the red carpet.
Teaming her look with red lips and tousled locks, she proved she does out-and-out glam just as well as she pulls off fierce chic.
Meanwhile en route to London for tonight's show, Rihanna showcased her down-time style - arriving at LAX airport in slouched black PVC trousers, an oversized sweatshirt and this season's bomber jacket trend.
Ahead of tonight's runway show, the Barbadian singer has revealed she won't be performing, as she wants to be taken seriously for her fashion.
And it seems that, unlike many other stars, Rihanna has made sure she's been behind the style decisions for her Rihanna for River Island collection.
In a recently-released behind-the-scenes video, she said the range would suit "young, sassy personalities" as she revealed what inspired her and her own approach to fashion.
She said: “I’ve wanted to design my own fashion line for a very long time.
“This has been something I wanted to do ever since I started loving fashion and felt passionate about it.
“Every time I saw something on a rack I felt like I wanted to do something different to it to change it. The only way I could do that was by designing the perfect thing for me.”
She added: "The collection is causal and chic and flirty. I want girls to really want to wear the pieces and feel comfortable, but still feel edgy and I wanted the character to come out in the clothes without trying to hard. It’s just simple.”
All shall be revealed when the Rihanna for River Island gets underway tonight at 9pm...
