Regina King and Schiaparelli have teamed up for a special auction
Fashion house Schiaparelli and Hollywood actress Regina King have come together for a special auction to benefit the Obama Foundation’s Girls Opportunity Alliance. Hosted by Christie’s, the profit from the sales will go toward the organisation, which helps to empower adolescent girls around the world through education.
The sale includes two custom Schiaparelli looks worn by King to the 72nd Emmy Awards.
One is a haute couture asymmetric bustier dress in electric blue, which we saw on the actress during a virtual red carpet moment.

The second look is a ready-to-wear double-breasted wool suit in bright pink, which King was spotted wearing later in the evening. She styled it with her own T-shirt on the night, which honoured Breonna Taylor, a young Black woman who was fatally shot by police earlier this year.

"Working with Schiaparelli has been very gratifying," King said. "They are an historic brand that represents class and a positive work ethic which are the same values I try to live by. Supporting the Obama Foundation’s Girls Opportunity Alliance is another example of why working with Schiaparelli has been so rewarding."
The auction is now open for bidding at Christie’s here, running from until 30 October.
