Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page has been cast alongside Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana De Armas in what's being described as "the biggest-budget feature film in Netflix's history".
Day month made. The project, titled The Gray Man, is a spy thriller adapted from Mark Greaney's 2009 novel and is being directed by the Russo Brothers. Here's what else we know about the film:
What's The Gray Man about?
The Gray Man, which boasts a budget of $200m according to Deadline, focuses on a freelance assassin and former CIA agent Court Gentry AKA Gray Man, who will be played by Gosling.
With the Russo Brothers at the helm and $200 at their disposal, we're pretty certain it's not going to disappoint. Speaking to Deadline about the project which has been in development for years, Anthony Russo said: "The movie is a real mano a mano between those two great actors who represent two different versions of the CIA, in what it can be, and what it can do.
"For those who were fans of Captain America: Winter Soldier, this is us moving into that territory in more of a real-world setting. That’s what this movie really means for us."
Who is going to star in The Gray Man?
Who isn't going to star in The Gray Man? As well as Bridgerton's Regé-Jean, Ana, Ryan and Chris, there's a whole host of other huge names signed up.
Black Panther and Desperate Housewives star Alfre Woodard will play Maurice Cahill, while Billy Bob Thornton, Game of Thrones actor Jessica Henwick, Narcos star Wagner Moura, Dhanush and Julia Butters are also part of the cast.
When will The Gray Man be released on Netflix?
Production is due to start this month, so hopefully we can expect the film to land on the streaming platform some time in 2022.
