Red Velvet Cream Liqueur Is Back At Aldi Just In Time For Valentine's Day Drinking
Who said cream liqueurs were just for Christmas? Not us.
Aldi has brought back its much-loved Ballycastle Red Velvet Cream Liqueur especially for Valentine's Day, and we're really feeling the love.
From 29th January, you'll be able to pick up a bottle in all UK Aldi stores for just £7.49. Baileys' Red Velvet Cupcake edition of their famous liqueur is on sale for over double that price at £21.99, so you can rest assured you're getting a proper bargain with Aldi's version.
Aldi says its customers will be thrilled to see the re-launch of the liqueur, as it was one of the fastest-selling spirit launches to date when first introduced last year.
It really does sound like total heaven in a glass - boozy cream with red velvet cake flavours. It's a pretty shade of pink that'll look great in a cocktail, and the bottle is pretty enough with a red shimmer to sit nicely on your bar cart. What a winner!
It's not the only dupe Aldi has become famous for. Recently, Aldi relaunched the hot chocolate maker that's a cheaper version of the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser, and the soup maker that's a dupe of a much more expensive Morphy Richards version.
They've got dupes covered when it comes to booze, too. Their Haysmith's Blood Orange Gin is a dead ringer for Malfy's, and their Infusionist Spiced Biscuit Gin Liqueur tastes just like lovely Lotus Biscoff Biscuits.
