A red squirrel is seen sniffing a flower with a bee on it in Scotland this week.
Wildlife photographer Żaneta Blaszczyk captured the scene in the Borders area on Wednesday (26 May).
She explains: "I captured a red squirrel smelling a flower; there is also a tiny bee on it. It's face just looked cute and it seemed like admiring the nice scent.
"There are also some shots of squirrels in bluebells and other ones that I found funny. They were taken in the Borders in my family's garden. Normally the squirrels are quite shy but these ones occasionally come up hoping for some tasty nuts!"
